Cedia is the European Home Entertainment Exhibition held at London’s Earl Court each year. Aimed at the Home Entertainment Installer and the Home Entertainment Enthusiast alike, Cedia offers an experience like no other, providing exclusive entertainment product launches and training programs for installers looking to build their business.
This year saw the launch of several products from UK and international companies, including portable home media remote controls (capable of controlling lights and entertainment systems throughout a home), home servers (for storage of digital media like movies and music) and a new range of subtle projection screens that improve viewing quality whilst simultaneously being discreet when not in use.
The Cedia Expo 2008 promises to be bigger and better, attracting industry leading names such as Epsom, Sharp, Fujitsu, AMX and dozens of other exhibitors.
The 2008 Educational program also promises to out-deliver that of the extremely popular 2007 seminars with talks already planned on advanced AV design and home theatre installation guidelines. Although most talks will be aimed at Electronic Systems specialists (such as installers, designers, analysts etc.) all will be open to Interior Designers and architects who attend the expo in large numbers.
