This mount is suitable for TVs with wall mounting screw-holes up to 640 x 455mm (W x H) apart.

The major benefit of this tilting mount versus other tilting mounts is that the back of the TV is particularly close to the wall, being just 4.1cm. Rather than pivoting across the centre of the screen, this mount tilts by allowing the top of the screen to be pulled forward. The width of the wall-plate is 705mm and the height is 265 mm. A benefit of this bracket is that the centre of the wall plate is open allowing for the easy location of cabling and wall sockets. Yet another benefit of this bracket is that it is possible to add a small padlock to the bracket to increase the security of the installation.If you're unsure of how strong your wall is, then this bracket is a great option, it's particularly good for Plasterboard walls.(please follow the guidance below) A final benefit of this bracket is that the centre of the wall plate is open allowing for the easy location of cabling and wall sockets.

There is the option to have up to 8 wall fixings in place for both the top and bottom sections of the wall plate, this can offer real 'Peace of Mind'.

All screw-fittings into the back of the TV are included as are the wall fixings..

The wall fitting is 705mm x 265mm, hence your TV needs to be at least this size to fully hide the bracket from view.

Will this bracket fit my TV?

Your TV must weigh less than 80kg and have a screen diameter between 37 and 63"

On the back-plate of the TV there must be 4 or 6 threaded screw-holes, set out in a square or rectangle, spaced between 100mm & 640mm horizontally and up to a maximum of 455mm vertically.

If your TV has wall mount screw-fixing position spaced at 800mm (some Philips, LG and Samsung models) then please consider the BT8432.

Can I use this mount on my wall type?

This bracket is ideal for brick, concrete, other masonry and wooden walls.

If mounted on a plasterboard wall, care must be taken to ensure that a least 6 wall bolts are secured into the wooden stud-work, behind the plasterboard, Securing this bracket only to plasterboard is not sufficient.

From a mounting point of view it really couldn’t be any easier, firstly secure the wall plate to the wall and then attach the vertical strips to the back of the TV, then simply lift the TV and hook-it onto the wall plate, finally slide in the security bar to prevent the TV from being lifted off the wall plate. For additional security, it is possible to add a small padlock to prevent the security bar from being removed.
