The Premier AM3 is proving to be a very popular choice for both home and commercial installations.

Ideal for use in an alcove or for mounting the TV in the corner of the room. This is a swing-out arm mount capable of allowing the TV to be positioned flush against the wall bracket, or swung all the way to the left or right (depending on how it is installed), effectively meaning that the TV is positioned adjacent to the wall bracket. Due to the flexibility of this bracket, it is perfect for mounting your TV in the corner of the room. When installed, the TV can be positioned to mask the bracket.

The Arm can be mounted to operate from the left or the right.

You can pull your TV up to 66cm (25”) away from the wall, when pushed back it only protrudes 10cm (4”). The AM3 will allow you to turn most 40”+ TVs at least 90 degrees left or right. The AM3 also offers a smooth tilt adjustment of +-10 degrees, using Premier Mounts unique Radial Glide Technology. Cables can be hidden in the arms of the AM3 using the innovative cable management ports. These ports are able to accommodate, AC Power, HDMI, Composite and Aerial cables, SCART cables are too large to pass through them. If you need to use SCART cables, we recommend using SCART ~ Phono cables, then run the Phono ends through the cable ports.

Flexibility and freedom of movement are the key benefits of the AM3. You can tilt your screen by + or - 10 degrees and turn your screen all the way from the left then all the way to the right, there are very few restrictions.

The bracket comes in two pieces, the mounting arm and the adaptor plate. The wide wall fixing of the AM3 helps spreads the weight of your TV across a bigger area than virtually all other articulated arm brackets. This means that the AM3 is ideal for mounting on a number of surfaces other than brick, such as concrete or stud walls. There is the option to have up to 7 wall fixings in place for both the top and bottom section of the wall plate, a great confidence boost if you are worried about supporting the weight of your TV when you pull it away from the wall.

All screw-fittings into the back of the TV are included.

Will this bracket fit my TV?

Your TV must weigh less than 73kg and have a screen diameter between 40 and 61"

On the back-plate of the TV there must be 4 or 6 threaded screw-holes, set out in a square or rectangle, spaced between 200mm & 870mm horizontally and up to a maximum of 50mm vertically.

This bracket is great for most TVs but is especially suited to those from LG & Philips that have the extra-wide 800mm screw-mount hole positions. Not all brackets are capable of coping with this width fitting.

Can I use this mount on my wall type?

This bracket is ideal for brick, concrete, other masonry and wooden walls.

If mounted on a plasterboard wall, care must be taken to ensure that a least 6 wall bolts are secured into the wooden stud-work, behind the plasterboard, Securing this bracket only to plasterboard is not sufficient.

From a mounting point of view it really couldn’t be any easier. You are supplied with a template which when placed on the wall allows you to drill the fixing holes quickly and more importantly make sure that they are in the right place first time.
